Product Compatibility

Is the Flow Boss system compatible with my existing 12V pump?

The Flow Boss NO PUMP system is compatible with all 12V soft wash pumps that have standard 1/2" NPT fittings. If you're unsure about compatibility, contact our support team with your pump model.

What chemicals can I use with your systems?

Our systems are compatible with standard soft wash chemicals including sodium hypochlorite (bleach), surfactants, degreasers, and other non-flammable cleaning solutions. All components are chemical-resistant.

Will this work with my truck/trailer setup?

Yes! Our 12V systems work with any standard 12V DC power source (truck battery, trailer battery, etc.). The wireless remote provides 100+ ft range for convenient operation.

Can I expand my system later?

Absolutely! Our systems are modular and expandable. You can add additional proportioner ports, upgrade components, or add accessories as your business grows.

How long does installation take?

Most contractors complete installation in 1-2 hours. The Flow Boss Complete Kit comes with all necessary fittings and connections for a straightforward setup.

Do I need special tools for installation?

Basic hand tools are all you need: wrenches, screwdrivers, and wire strippers. No specialized equipment required.

Do you provide installation instructions?

Yes! Each system includes detailed installation instructions. We also offer installation support via email and phone.

Can I install this myself or do I need a professional?

Most contractors with basic mechanical skills can install our systems themselves. If you're comfortable working with plumbing fittings and basic electrical connections, you can handle the installation.

What's the difference between the Flow Boss Complete Kit and the NO PUMP version?

Flow Boss Complete Kit: Includes everything - 12V pump, proportioner, wireless remote, and all fittings. Ready to install out of the box.

Flow Boss NO PUMP: Includes proportioner and fittings only. Perfect for contractors who already have a 12V pump and remote.

How do I set chemical mixing ratios?

The proportioner features numbered dial valves that let you set precise flow rates for each chemical line. Adjust the dials to control how much water, soap, and chlorine flow into your mix. Refer to our strength percentages guide for recommended ratios by surface type.

What's the range on the wireless remote?

The 30A wireless remote has a range of 100+ feet, allowing you to control your pump from a safe distance while working.

How much power does the pump draw?

Our 12V pumps are designed to work with the included 30A relay and 20A fused power cord. They're optimized for mobile soft wash applications without draining your battery.

What size fittings do your systems use?

Our systems use industry-standard 1/2" and 3/4" NPT fittings. All necessary fittings and adapters are included with complete systems.

How do I activate my warranty?

Register your product within 30 days of purchase to activate warranty coverage. You'll receive registration instructions with your order.

What's your return policy?
